Know Your Rarity
The Standard Ladder — every wave uses these seven tiers, from most common to rarest:
⚪ R — Rare. Core set art. The foundation of every pack.
🔘 SR — Super Rare. Clean full-art prints, one step up from base.
🟢 SSR — Super Special Rare. The most common 'good' pull — sharper foil, stronger composition.
🔵 UR — Ultra Rare. A genuine hit. Foil-stamped and noticeably harder to pull.
🟣 AR — Array Rare. Comes in silver and gold variants — gold AR is significantly rarer and more valuable than silver.
🟡 MR — Master Rare. Near the top of the standard ladder. Premium character art, low pull rate.
🌟 SE — Special Edition. The rarest standard tier. Some waves serial-number these — the ultimate chase card in the set.
Box-Exclusive Chase Tiers — only found in specific box types, not every wave:
⭐ SP — Special. Unique alternate-pose artwork exclusive to certain tiers.
💠 OR — Original Rare. Clean parallel art found in select box tiers, including our Itachi Cloud Box.
🔥 BP — Battle Pack. Exclusive to Tier 4 boxes. Dynamic action-pose chase cards.
👑 CP — Character Parallel. Exclusive to Tier 2.5 boxes like our Itachi Cloud Box. Gold-foil dual-character cards — among the hardest pulls in the entire Kayou line.
📱 QR — Chibi Parallel. Playful chibi-style art with a scannable code element, tied to specific waves.
Kayou has updated its rarity system over time, and exact pull rates or tier exclusivity can shift by wave. This guide reflects the general ladder used across current waves — if you're ever unsure where a specific card sits, message us and we'll help you place it.
